House Plan Designer
Home & ConstructionEnter your plot size and rooms and get three genuinely different conceptual floor plans — maximum space, better light and ventilation, or Vastu preferred.
Plans are drawn in your browser. Only if you ask for an AI concept image are the room sizes or the drawing sent, and nothing is kept
A rule-based generator, not an AI guess: room sizes, adjacency and Vastu preferences are configurable rules the engine checks every layout against, so what comes back is validated — no room too small, no door blocked, no window on a wall that cannot have one. It designs; it does not estimate material or cost, which is what the construction calculators below are for.

Features
- Three alternatives per plot, each optimised differently — maximum usable space, the most light and cross-ventilation, or Vastu-preferred placement — not one layout labelled three ways.
- Understands setbacks, road side and plot orientation, and only ever proposes rooms inside the buildable area.
- Every plan is validated: room sizes, aspect ratios, door and window placement, staircase clearance, parking size and reachability are all checked.
- A plain floor plan view with room labels, dimensions, doors, windows and a north arrow.
- Says plainly when a request does not fit a plot, with what to try instead, rather than forcing a broken layout.
- Runs entirely in your browser; nothing about your plot or program is sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a construction-ready drawing?
No. It is a conceptual planning layout. Local building regulations, structural requirements, fire safety, services and site conditions must be reviewed by a qualified architect or engineer before construction — this tool never claims otherwise.
Why are the three plans actually different, not the same plan relabelled?
Each one runs its own search with different priorities: Maximum Space favours large rooms and less corridor, Light & Ventilation requires every habitable room to reach open air or a light well, and Vastu Preferred places rooms by traditional compass preferences. The structure — which rooms share a wall, where the passage runs — differs, not just the numbers.
What if my rooms do not fit my plot?
The tool says so before generating anything, with the shortfall and concrete suggestions — drop a room, adjust a setback, or spread rooms across more than one floor — rather than forcing rooms into a layout that does not actually work.
Is Vastu compulsory?
No. It is one of three alternatives, and it only affects a plan generated with the Vastu preference on. The Vastu table itself is a set of configurable weighted preferences, not an absolute rule — kept practical alongside usability, not instead of it.
Can I edit a plan after it is generated?
Not yet in this version — editing, saving and exporting are on the roadmap. For now this covers generating and comparing conceptual layouts.
Does it cost anything to use?
No, and it needs no account. The whole thing runs as JavaScript in your browser.
